Snow Shoeing
We offer snowshoes for rent so you can explore our winter wonderland! There are a few trails on the property to explore.
If you’re looking for longer trails, there are a few nearby options to choose from, like Cornelia Levering Broadmeadows Trail (3km), Whitestone Lake Recreational Trail (2.9km), and Nesbitt Trail (2.5km).

Sugar Dogs Adventure Co. has been providing dog-sledding adventures since 2005. They’re located in Sundridge, 20 minutes from Quiet Bay.
Horse-drawn sleigh rides at Armstrong’s Thunder Ridge Farm
Armstrong’s Thunder Ridge Farm is a family run business operating from Sprucedale, about an hour from Quiet Bay. With their team of two stunning black Percheron Geldings, they offer their customers sleigh rides, wagon rides and custom events too.
Their property in Sprucedale features 54 acres of fully groomed trails to provide you with the best sleigh ride adventure in the winter months. Their sleigh holds up to 14 people and is equipped for both day time and evening rides with under glow lighting and spot lights for night time adventures.

Pike and Crappie
Located minutes from the Quiet Bay Inn, Poverty Bay is a great place to fish for Pike and Crappie.

If you want to do a little cooking in the hut, the ice fishing hut rental can include a frying pan and pot.

Trout
Located in Sundridge (20 minutes from Quiet Bay), Lake Bernard is a great place to fish for trout.

Magnetawan Lions Club hosts an annual Smelt fish fry the last Friday and Saturday in April.
